About Us
In 1895, Beulah Hill Baptist Church was organized with 18 charter members, and through the years it has provided a spiritual ministry to the area.
The church had its beginning under a “Brush Arbor” at the “Old Grave Yard”, located about 3 miles North-West of Pinehurst. Services were held only in the summer months for the first two years, but in 1897, with attendance and interest growing, the decision was made to construct a building so that services could continue year-round. A simple, one room building, twenty-five by thirty was erected.
In the early years of ministry from 1909-1912, the building served not only as a place of worship, but as a schoolhouse as well. As the church grew through the years, the building was enlarged and improved. The old white church that sits on the hill was in use until 1959 when the present building was completed and occupied. Never standing still in growth, more space was needed, and more classrooms and a fellowship hall were dedicated in 1974.
Over the years, Beulah Hill Baptist Church has enjoyed the respect and support of the surrounding area. Its ministry has, and continues, to touch the lives of countless people with a Bible-based message of God’s love and grace. Guests are welcomed warmly and invited to participate in all of the church activities!
